Boyd just recently made a huge announcement that they are on-shoring the production of their aluminum bicycle rims. This will help to make higher quality rims, with increased manufacturing flexibility and decreased lead times. Also, thanks to improved processes and automations, this change is possible without any increases in costs to the consumer. See the video announcement below.

In celebration on this announcement, we teamed up with the team at Boyd to do a giveaway to get a free wheelset of sweet alloy rims on someone’s ride and help Boyd spread the word on their high quality rims made right up the road in Greenville.

Kat is shortly headed for a walkabout (or should we say rideabout) in Australia with her new wheelset. A month, maybe more, but no matter how long, she is going to put some in some serious miles on her Boyds and is super excited! Have fun Kat!

Giveaway Details

This giveaway will be run through Instagram and Facebook with a simple, three step way to enter. This gets you in the running while helping spread the word about Boyd’s announcement and awesome wheels.

Prize – Winner Chooses One (1) Wheelset from these Prologue Series Options:

  1. Rouleur Road – Rim or Disc brake
  2. GVL Gravel – Disc brake
  3. Stumphouse MTB – Disc brake

How to Enter

Go to either Instagram or Facebook (this is a single entry per person giveaway)

  1. If not already, Follow or Like both Cannon Cyclery and Boyd Cycling
  2. Find and Like the Cannon Cyclery post about the Wheelset Giveaway
  3. And finally, comment on the post and tag one of your cycling buddies in the comment.

Rules & Terms
  • Open to US residents only. Must be 18 yrs or older.
  • Entries will be accepted from 6 pm May 2, 2023 until midnight May 19, 2023.
  • This is a single entry per person giveaway. Entering multiple times or on both Instagram and Facebook will not increase your chances of winning.
  • One winner will be drawn at random from the approved (completing all entry requirements) entries and notified via direct message on Tuesday May 23, 2023.
  • Winning prize is one (1) wheelset picked from three possible Prologue Series choices: Rouleur Road (rim or disc brake), GVL Gravel (disc brake), Stumphouse MTB (disc brake). No other choices or options available for this giveaway.
  • Prize valued at $425-450.
  • Winner must pick up prize at the Cannon Cyclery shop once we receive chosen wheelset from Boyd.
