Curtis has been working in the cycling world since 1998, including stints for many of the top local Atlanta shops. He eventually started Cannon Cyclery, out of his garage in the beginning, and grew the shop to what it is today – a unique shop, focused on providing personalized service.

He is a skilled, certified mechanic with over 25 years of tech experience and an encyclopedic knowledge of bicycles and repair processes. Curtis is also a bike fit specialist, having had training in many areas of study, including schools by Specialized and Trek, and training under John Cobb. With a mechanical engineering degree on his resume, he also designs adaptive bikes/trikes and fabricates needed components on a regular basis.

Curtis digs steel frames and can pretty much fix anything. Seriously, anything.

Current Bike(s):
Niner RLT Gravel
Orbea Alma
Ritchey Road Logic

Dan has been working in the industry since the good ole 80s, including stints at many of the top shops in the Atlanta area. Let’s just say that he is a certified, super talented wrench with decades of experience. He is also an expert wheel builder.

He rides more than the rest of us combined – both solo jaunts and frequents local group rides weekly as well as larger organized events like Brag Spring Tune, Brag, Horsey 100, and others.

Dan digs long gravel rides in the country and has a pretty serious sweet tooth.

Current Bike(s):
Litespeed Ultimate G2
Giant TCR

Julie has loved bikes and biking since an early age. Her journey to working on bikes took a twisty path starting with working on computers and networks, then to flight instructing, and to aircraft mechanics. While earning her Airframe and Powerplant license she discovered her love of mechanics. She has been working on her own bikes for more than 10 years and has come to work professionally as a bike mechanic in the last few years.

When not at the shop, Julie loves riding her road and gravel bikes and brewing some darn fine beer with her husband.

Current Bike(s):
Trek Fuel EX8
Raleigh Preston

After giving logistics consulting life the boot, Bart switched gears and began pursuing a much different career. He began designing websites, logos, marketing collateral, and more while spinning his clean and creative touch. Fast forward over two decades and his company tin shed creative continues to assist clients with their various needs across digital and print.

Naturally, Bart handles the shop website, marketing materials, social media, among other things. Currently you can find him here several days a week working on that stuff as well as just making sure all runs smoothly and everyone has a great experience at the shop.

Bart digs riding dirt, especially the dirt out west.

Current Bike(s):
Specialized Epic
Ridley Kanzo Fast

Mike has also been a long time customer and friend of the shop. He likes variety and somehow seems to have a new bike every month and rides each one hard until the next n+1 shows up.

His day job with Wahoo Fitness keeps him busy but he helps us run our consignment/outlet program on the side, ensuring specs, pricing and pics are spot on for all items for sale.

Cool fact on Mike is that he is a pretty good musician and played in a 2000’s pop band back in the day. He still plays gigs these days, when he is not riding of course.
